Discontinuation of Untracked Shipping
Dylan Hunt
Over the past few months, we've experienced a significant increase in issues with untracked Lettermail orders, including packages being lost, severely delayed, or returned to sender (us). In contrast, tracked packages have consistently arrived without these complications.
In late January, we temporarily paused untracked shipping in hopes the situation would improve. However, after continued disruptions and discussions with other retailers facing similar challenges, we've determined that the reliability of untracked shipping has not improved.
As a result, we've made the difficult decision to permanently discontinue offering untracked shipping. Without tracking, there is no way to locate packages once they leave the post office, which creates frustration for both our customers and our team. Tracked shipping allows us to hold Canada Post accountable and better support our customers if a package is lost or delayed.
We understand the importance of affordable shipping options, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. Please know this decision was made with our customers' best interests in mind, as we strive to provide the best possible service and experience.
